The Colorado Alliance Americorps Program is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the lives of youth across the state of Colorado. This program combines the national service organization Americorps, with the Colorado Boys and Girls Club, allowing participants to help in providing a safe place for students, combat illiteracy, teach critical life skills, and directly serve their community. The program also allows its members to gain real work experience, while earning a monthly living allowance. Completion of the program also includes an educational award which can be applied to school loans and future education. This years program currently enrolls 19 members from all across the nation working in several clubs across the state of Colorado. We are now looking for potential members for next year.
